George W. Shiebler Lava Shaped Mixed Metal Salt & Peppers
George W. Shiebler Lava Shaped Mixed Metal Salt & Peppers are very ultra rare and unique - added to our museum on 5-31-25. The drop hammering is exquisite and the shape is highly unusual and similar to a Tiffany Favrile Art Glass Lava Vase. There are also extremely rare mixed metal embellishments of a bat, snake, and flying bug. There is also a sterling applied seahorse, fish and beetle. The scene is of a Japonesque nautical nature and features cattails and sea grass. This is absolutely one of the most exquisite pieces that we have added to our collection in quite a long time. They weigh 3.60 troy ounces and measure 3.25" tall. Approximate value is $5,000.00- $10,000.
