Sterling Silver Hollowware & Gift Items:

Buccellati of Italy has been prolific in producing a broad range of sterling silver hollowware & gift item pieces including: bowls, candlesticks, candelabras, centerpieces, figurines, key chains, ornaments, picture frames, statement pieces, tea & coffee sets, tea caddy spoons and more.

As a general rule on the gift and holloware items, the more elaborate and hand decorated the piece is, the more it will likely be worth. Here is a list of some general ideas on price of these items:

Bowls: Leaf and Flower Bowls are worth between  $100-$115 per troy ounce  at retail. Candlesticks and Candelabras: Although these are weighted and can't usually be weighed, you can typically estimate about 25% of the gross weigh multiplied by  $65-$150 per troy ounce  at retail. Plainer classic styles will be on the lower spectrum. Very ornate items, especially ones with dolphins, cherubs, faces, or other figural depictions will be in the higher range estimate.

Centerpieces:  are worth between  $100-$250 per troy ounce  at retail.

Figurines:  Animal figurines worth between  $100-$500 per troy ounce  at retail. Some of the smaller pieces like turtles, giraffes, rhinoceros are tough to find for any less than $300 per troy ounce.

Giftware: Keychains and other gift items are worth between  $75-$125 per troy ounce  at retail.

Bowls: Leaf and Flower Bowls are worth between  $100-$115 per troy ounce  at retail.

Ornaments: Christmas ornaments are worth between  $75-$200 per troy ounce  at retail. Some of the older editions are in the higher range. Any ornament with a mix of both silver and gold accents will also usually be worth money.

Picture Frames:  Although these are weighted and can't usually be weighed, you can typically estimate between  $300-$1,500 per frame  at retail. On previously owned frames you figure around 1/2 of the original MSRP to estimate the pre-owned retail value of the item.

Statement Pieces: are worth between  $100-$300 per troy ounce  at retail.

Tea and Coffee Sets: are worth between  $60-$150 per troy ounce  at retail. The market is pretty soft on Cofffe and Tea sets. People just don't use these anymore to entertain with.

Tea Caddy Spoons: are worth between  $100-$200 per troy ounce  at retail.
